Overview

STR Squad (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a short-term rental management platform that helps property hosts manage listings, automate guest communications, and monitor portfolio performance. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.

Description of Service

STR Squad provides software tools for short-term rental hosts, including but not limited to: property and listing management, calendar synchronization, guest messaging automation, maintenance triage, and portfolio analytics. Features vary by subscription plan.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice, though we will make reasonable efforts to inform active subscribers of significant changes.

User Accounts

To access the Service you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and current, and that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Transmit spam, phishing, or other unauthorized communications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written consent
• Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions at our sole discretion.

Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All fees are stated in US dollars and are non-refundable except as expressly provided in these Terms or required by applicable law. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Payment processing is provided by Stripe. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

If a payment fails, we will notify you and may suspend your access to the Service until the outstanding balance is resolved. We may change pricing at any time with at least 30 days’ notice to active subscribers.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by STR Squad and protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in the Service.

You retain ownership of any data, listings, or content you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STR Squad and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, fail to pay amounts owed, or if we discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. We may delete Your Content after a reasonable grace period. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so, including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
